How to Import Data Into AMIBROKER

Creating Amibroker database – By Captain

Just create a folder on the desktop by the name of EOD and cut paste all the EOD files which have been uploaded in the form of text files in one folder….

Once you have cut pasted all the files in one folder then open Amibroker and click on file, a screen like this would appear on screen….

Then click on import wizard which is a option there…then a screen would open which is like…..

Click on pick files which is a option there and then a screen would appear which is like this….

Just select all the files which are in the EOD folder which you had created in the starting remember, yes select all the text files from there and click on open and the files would be listed in the box as below you can see…..

Now just click on the next button on the box and a screen would open which is like….

Just click on next, you need not need to make any changes in this box and after you click on next a screen would open which is like this…..

This is the final touch for uploading of data in Amibroker and the charts would be in front of you…. Its as easy as it looks… here is a screen shot of the charts which would look like this…

Do make a note, if you are selecting less then 4 files then the charts wont appear on screen, the more number of files you select the chart size would increase that much….

In the end just click on save and you are done you charts are ready just by few simple steps and one can do updates to the charts by following the same cycle again and just select the new uploaded file for the same, the charts would be updated for the day.
