Guidance to Add 1 min Tick Data in Amibroker

Adding 1 min Tick Data in Amibroker – By Captain

Just create a folder on the desktop by the name of 1 min tick data and cut paste all the 1 min tick file which have been uploaded in one folder….

Once you have cut pasted all the files in one folder then open Amibroker and click on file, a screen like this would appear on screen….

Step – 1 

Then click on new - database which is a option there…then a screen would open which is like…..

Write in the name of the database and click on create, I have names as tick data 1 min and select local database and change the number 1000 to 30000 and base time change it to 1 mins and click on ok

Then click on file and click on import wizard as seen on the screen below

Then a screen like this would open in the screen as shown below, click on pick files and select the files which was copy pasted on the folder on the desktop, select the 1 min file which is provided.

Then Click on next and a next screen shown below would be seen on the screen.

Change the 1^st column to DMY & 2^nd Column to time as highlighted on the screen above and then click on next and a screen below would be see on the screen.

Just Click on finish and main step is over and a screen would be open as shown below…

If there is no charts shown on the screen then go to symbol and select the stock from there and final step click the right button of the mouse and select intraday and click on 1 mins, then the stock would be on the screen and your are done with the final steps, follow the same on every upload and you are done.
